SRF is a market leader in the safe and efficient production of industrial chemicals. At SRF, we manufacture a wide range of industrial chemicals that are used in diverse applications ranging from solvents in pharma, feedstock for agrochemicals, metal de-greasing, etching of stainless steel and glass, foam blowing agents and dry-cleaning.
Chloromethanes, which includes Methyl Chloride, Methylene Chloride, Chloroform and Carbon Tetrachloride are manufactured at our chemical facilities in Dahej and Bhiwadi, India. With the setting up of an additional facility to produce 100,000 tonnes per annum, SRF is the largest producer of Chloromethanes in the country.

Fully Backward-integrated Manufacturing of Critical Intermediates
Serving Pharma, Agro, Electronics, Solar, and Textile Industries Worldwide
Leading India’s Chloromethanes Industry with 30+ Years of Safe Operations
Processes driven by Innovation and Compliance with Global Standards
Anhydrous Hydrochloric Acid is a highly reactive , corrosive gas used primarily in industrial chemical synthesis and specialised laboratory applications. It is used for chlorination reaction in pharma industry, as catalyst in Friedel crafts reaction and as intermediate in chemical reactions. (Available in 32 kg cylinder).
Methyl Chloride (CH3Cl), also known as chloromethane, is colourless, flammable gas with mildly sweet odour widely used as methylating agent in chemical synthesis. Available in tonners and ISO tanks.
Anhydrous Hydrofluoric Acid (AHF), also manufactured by SRF is diluted into a concentration (ranging 20% – 70%) and is used as Dilute hydrofluoric acid (DHF).
A clear, colourless, nonflammable, volatile liquid, chlorinated hydrocarbon is used as a solvent in the manufacturing of pharmaceuticals, as a degreasing agent in electronics manufacturing and as a foam blowing agent for polyurethane foams.
Chloroform is a colourless, volatile, liquid derivative of trichloromethane. The primary use of chloroform today is as a Solvent in the Pharmaceutical industry and as Feedstock in manufacturing of HCFC-22.
Carbon Tetrachloride is a clear, colourless, volatile and very stable chlorinated hydrocarbon. Carbon Tetrachloride is used as a solvent for oils and fats, as a refrigerant and as a dry-cleaning agent.
Perchloroethylene (also called Tetrachloroethylene) is a clear colourless, dense liquid with a distinctive, somewhat ether-like odour. It is non-flammable, highly stable, having no measurable flash point or flammable limits in air, belonging to the family of organic halogen compounds.
Trichloroethylene is a chlorinated aliphatic hydrocarbon compound containing a double bond. It is a dense, non-flammable, volatile, colourless liquid which is only slightly soluble in water but miscible with organic solvents and other halogenated compounds.
